Yes, you could update using your favourite instant messaging client, or texting from your cellphone. But that aren’t the way to looked geeky. Updating from terminal is geekier.

Another example that linux is very powerful. Linux Journal has an article on how Tippett Studio using linux for their movie, The Spiderwick Chronicles. They’re using mac desktop, but running linux as it’s OS. Nice
Hearing the news that IE8 will default to standard-compliant mode definitely suprises me. Finally Microsoft want to use the widely used standard, instead of using their own standard.
I hope IE8 just a start. I want to see more standard compliant applications.
Modding a PC case is and always be my dream. Yes, for some people, the important thing is what inside it, not how it’s looked. But I never disagree with them. Having a beautiful PC case is definitely a must. It’s simply a personal pleasure to me.
MKmods shows you you don’t have to be rich to do casing mod. A US$ 19 plain case could be modded into a whole different look. All you need is patient and some techie skills.
Do you want to do some fancy working with your computer in Starbucks, but you don’t have laptop? Well, you could bring your own desktop to Starbucks.
